Terms of service

Terms of Service

Effective date: 8 August 2026

These Terms of Service apply when you use pawcomfort.co.uk or purchase products from Paw Comfort UK. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.

1. About the store and contact

Paw Comfort UK operates the website pawcomfort.co.uk. Questions, complaints and notices may be sent to pawcomfort.sara@gmail.com.

2. Website use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, misuse another person's information, scrape the website in a way that disrupts service, or use the website to commit fraud or another unlawful act.

3. Product information

We aim to describe products accurately. Colours and appearance can vary between screens, and measurements should be checked against the product specification. If information is materially incorrect, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Prices and payment

Prices displayed for the UK market are in British pounds sterling (GBP). Applicable taxes and delivery charges, if any, are shown before payment. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before accepting an order. We will contact you if a correction affects an order already placed.

5. Orders and contract formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. The contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods. We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons such as suspected fraud, payment failure, stock error or an obvious pricing error. If payment has been taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders are dispatched from a UK local warehouse. Processing normally takes 1–2 business days and delivery after dispatch normally takes 3–7 business days. Full details and exceptions are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate, except where the law provides otherwise.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

For most online purchases, consumers may cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods and then have a further 14 days to send them back. Change-of-mind return postage is normally paid by the customer when disclosed in advance. No fixed restocking fee applies to the statutory cancellation right; an appropriate deduction may be made only for actual diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods. See our Return and Refund Policy.

8. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality where required by law. Contact us if there is a problem. The remedies available depend on the circumstances and your statutory rights.

9. Product safety and responsible use

Read and follow all product instructions, size limits, assembly guidance and safety warnings. Pet crates, pens and kennels must be selected for the individual animal and inspected regularly. Product information is not veterinary or behavioural advice.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics and original content belong to Paw Comfort UK or its licensors. You may view and make personal, non-commercial use of the website, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

11. Third-party services and links

The website may use payment, delivery, analytics and other services supplied by third parties or link to third-party websites. Their services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, but this does not affect responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of statutory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses suffered by a consumer.

13. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to an order are those in force when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also rely on applicable mandatory local law and bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in this section removes rights granted by mandatory consumer law.
