Our bird cages combine ventilated metal construction with practical accessories such as perches, bowls, toys and removable cleaning trays. Before choosing, confirm the cage's usable dimensions, bar spacing and door security for the exact species and number of birds.
Choose by species, space and bar spacing
A bird must be able to move and extend its wings without repeatedly contacting bars, feeders or toys. Overall external dimensions alone do not confirm suitability. Bar spacing must prevent the bird's head or body becoming trapped, and requirements differ between smaller birds, cockatiels and larger parrots. Where spacing is not stated, verify it before purchase and ask an avian specialist for species-specific advice.
Perches, feeding and enrichment
Position perches so droppings do not fall into food or water. Use varied, bird-safe perch diameters where appropriate and arrange toys without blocking the usable flight path. Fresh drinking water, suitable food and supervised time outside the cage remain part of a complete welfare setup.
Cleaning and cage placement
A removable tray makes daily care easier, but the full cage, bowls, perches and toys still need a regular cleaning routine. Place the cage away from cooking fumes, smoke, aerosols, strong draughts, direct heat and prolonged direct sun. Check doors, latches, wire joints and accessories before every use.
Bird cage FAQs
Is one cage suitable for every bird?
No. Match dimensions, bar spacing, door size, perch layout and enrichment to the individual species. The collection title does not replace species-specific guidance.
Can I carry a cage with a bird inside?
Only if the product instructions permit it and every door and accessory is secure. For regular journeys, a purpose-designed carrier may be more appropriate.
